All Saints Church Paston

Children & Young People

Our current ministry to families and children is in the following areas.

Play and Praise – every Tuesday of the week in church from 9:15am to 10:45am

Our newest form of ministry to children and families began on the 26th of January and is aimed at pre school children and their parents/ grandparents. We have an exciting time of inter-active worship, followed by a craft activity based on the Bible story. No charge is made and simple refreshments are provided.

Please note that a parent/ grandparent must always accompany the child.

Sunday School – most Sundays within the 10am service.

Children meet each week at the ten-o-clock service and then leave following the gospel reading. All of the leaders are CRB checked. They learn about Bible passages in an environment appropriate to their needs and understanding. They return to the church just before the end of the communion service to receive a blessing. All children are very welcome to join us.

Sunday School is not held on the 1st Sunday of the month. Instead all children (with adults of course) attend the Family all-age worship service.

Our Family Service - 1st Sunday of every month

This is our service aimed at worship and fun for all ages. It includes singing, stories, a short talk, prayers and fun! The Scouting organisations also attend these services during term time and parade their flags. It starts at 10.00am on the 1st Sunday of every month, and there is coffee/tea/squash and biscuits/cake available after the service.
